Sassy little one! You haven’t been yourself the past few days, as you can see by the picture to the left. You NEVER fall asleep in the afternoon, and to let Jenny hold you was something else that is uncommon. Maybe you knew that she was having a baby. That’s right, you are going to be an aunt! Unfortunately, she has a trying time ahead because at this point she does not know who the father is, either Luke or Mason. She is divorcing Mason, has just moved into a place of her own, and now she has this to deal with. Thankfully, she has the support of family and friends, and Luke has told her that he will be there for her no matter what. Only time will tell.
Not too much else is new except that it has been unbearably hot out for over a week. You and your sister both want to go outside and play but there is no way that we could stand being out there. Besides the fact that it is in the high 80s to low 90s it is also VERY humid. Even playing on the sunporch isn’t something I will let you do. So, your sassy streak has gone into overdrive. I think it is just that you are a little stir crazy – and the fact that you and your sister get on each others nerves. I do expect this – I know that I fought with Hailee and all siblings fight – it is just bad lately.
Well, ronikins, gotta go for now. I love you and promise to try and keep this updated more often.

Not too much is new, little one. Your new favorite thing to eat is Pubby Jelly (peanut butter and jelly). You are just too adorable. You walk through the store and if someone is in your way you say “pardon me” or “excuse you”. We try to tell you to say “excuse me” but then you think we want you to say it to us, ha! ha! You really crack me up….well most of the time.
It has been sooooo hot here for about a week, and it looks like it is going to last. It is about 88 degrees outside with over 80% humidity – yuck! Nana has another air conditioner for us, so hopefully Uncle Juni will bring that over tonight.
So, on to the big news. You are going to be an aunt. Jenny is pregnant. There is a down side to this though. She does not know who the father is, either Mason or Luke. Luke has told her that he will stand by her and be there for her no matter what, but she has gone through so much in the past few months. She has said that at 10-13 weeks there is a test she can have to determine paternity. She is going to do this because she feels it is not right to string along both men if you can decide who the father is beforehand. Oh, such drama! We will be here for her no matter what, but I feel that she has a pretty trying time ahead of her.
Love you chooboo, and promise to try and write more soon!
