Harvest Party

We have been pretty busy again so I apologize for not writing. As you can see, on the 13th Jason and Sally had a Harvest Party out by their house. They had a pig roast with everyone bringing a dish to pass. They had bowling, a pumpkin bean bag toss, pumpkin carving, a treasure dig in a pile of hay, along with their multiple swing sets, sand box, and basketball hoops set up in the barn. You and Ella had a great time and there is a picture of you digging in the hay below. We also brought treats and all

the kids got to go trick or treating from car to car for candy…such a great idea and they have a lot of land so there was a lot of room to run around and just have a great time.

Saturday we decided (even though you haven’t been feeling the greatest) to go out to the Country Pumpkin. We got to pet and feed baby goats, adult goats, a baby cow, some pigs, and a turkey. They were pretty hungry and if you put your hand out they would come running, whether you had food in it or not. It was pretty funny. Then we went on a hay/wagon ride that

you and your sister really enjoyed. You weren’t sure at first because it was pretty bumpy, and the horses wanted to run at times but it was fun.

They also had a corn maze that you and Ella went through 4 times. You were holding hands and it was so cute to see you making your way through it…just a really neat idea.

Yesterday was trick or treating by Nana’s. Of course you had to be one of the princesses and we picked Snow White. You had such a good time, even though you did fall and had a little crying spell. You still weren’t really feeling great

so I think that may be why. After we were done trick or treating we went down by Auntie Maybe (Mary Mellberg). She had special treats and you got to see her little dogs. It is always so good to see her and we need to make sure to get there more often. We also stopped by Auntie Tootsie and she was so thrilled to see her Hummingbird Little Feather. It has been way too long since we have seen her, and have never been to her new house before. It was beautiful.

Well, gotta go for now peanut, but will try to write again soon. Love you lots!

Harvest Party to Halloween

Wow, it’s been another busy time for us. On the 13th Jason and Sally had a Harvest party. There was a pig roast and everyone brought a dish to pass. They had bowling which you were playing in the first pic here. They also had pumpkin carving, a treasure dig in piles of hay, a bean bag toss into a pumpkin among the swing sets, and basketball hoops set up in the barn. Everyone brought treats to put in the trunks of their car, along with decorating it, and then all of the kids got to go trick or treating as well. It was such a great time:) And you took a great picture with Dilly – it is below.

On Saturday we took you and Grace to the Country Pumpkin. The weather wasn’t very nice – it would have been the perfect day if it wouldn’t have been so windy. But, we did get to pet some baby goats, a baby cow, some pigs and a turkey. We also took you and Grace for a hay ride, that was actually a lot of fun. Unfortunately Grace wasn’t feeling too well, but she toughed it out. They had a corn maze that you both went through together 4 times! You both had such a goood time. They do a great job of decorating – had to take a picture of the two of you in front of the spider:)

Then of course yesterday was Trick or Treating. Every year we go by Nana’s so we can go with all of the kids. This year you went as a fairy and looked adorable, but when don’t you? The weather wasn’t too bad – a little cool but at least the sun was shining. I didn’t see you a lot of the time. Your sister was pretty pokey so I hung back with her and you actually ended up going with Cari and Schmidty a lot of the time. After we were done we headed down by Auntie Maybe (Mary Mellberg) for some treats and just to visit. We also headed to Auntie Tootsie – you are her little Sunday Dream (that is the Indian name

that you were given by her). It is always so good to see her and it has been way too long. Other than that, not too much else is new. You are growing and are such a joy most of the time. You love to dance and you and your sister love the show Super Why. It is really cute and teaches you both to read, so I can’t complain. You are both getting very excited for Christmas and want to start making lists so I am sure that we will start that soon too. Gotta go for now, but love you very much and will write again soon!

How time flies

Where does time go? How many times am I going to ask myself this question? It seems like I just wrote to you but once again it has been a few months. I apologize for this, it seems like you and you sister are keeping me busier than normal lately – not complaining though , you both crack me up!

We have had a busy couple of months. As you can see by this picture we had a blast at the Herma Heart Center picnic at the Milwaukee Zoo. It is something that we always look forward to every year. Next year we are going to try and get there a little earlier so we may actually have the chance to meet some other families. Because you and your sister are getting older and cooperate more (for the most part) this may actually happen.
We also took you to Bay Beach – wow what fun the two of you had. We are so lucky to have something like this so close for you to go to. Most rides there are still just 25 cents – unbelievable. You both really enjoyed going on the train, and much to our surprise you also went on a few rides yourselves. Our little girls sure aren’t little anymore – becoming little ladies:)
We also went to the New Zoo in Suamico for their family day. As you can see you were having fun playing with the games they had there. We had to battle the wasps a little but you enjoyed it for the most part. Hard to get you away from the Carousel, but we finally did.
It was nice because they had free snacks and hot dogs and you always love looking at all the animals, especially the monkeys.
Annalise just left, you play so hard when she is here and you and your sister are both asleep – that is good because we have Family Fun Night tonight at the library. We have been going to this every Tuesday for about a month and you both just love it! And, we end up going to the library at least twice a week, you and Ella both love it. That is fine with me, I don’t love anyplace more than the library and would gladly go there every day with you. There is something so magical about books and I hope both of you find the love for them that I have.
You also have told me that Dragon Tales and Caillou are your new favorite shows – besides anything Princess. You and Ella love to watch The Goodnight Show and can sing most of the songs to the shows that they have on there from Sagwa, to Kipper, to Jakers. My little one, I love you and can’t believe what an amazing little girl you are turning into.
I have to go for now but really promise that I will write more soon – it may be only a few sentences but I want you to know that I am thinking of you.
Love you Roni!

Getting so big

Check you out!! My little model, I don’t think there has ever been a bad picture taken of you and the camera surely does love you. It has been a busy few months and I apologize for not writing sooner. I promise to get better, I know I have said this before but plan on keeping it this time.
Daddy and I had been taking you to the beach and park in TR – the above picture is one of the best pictures I have ever seen – check you out! You have no fear and really enjoy going down the curly slides and splashing around in the water.
We also went to the Milwaukee Zoo for the Herma Heart Center picnic. You and your sister always enjoy this, and you really enjoyed going on Charlie the camel with Daddy. We had perfect weather, it was warm but there was a nice breeze and you both just love looking at all the different animals and going to the petting zoo.
We also decided it was time to take you to Bay Beach – wow you both adored it! It is so reasonable, rides are only 25 cents apiece but your favorite (and Grace’s/Hannah’s) was the train. It always has a pretty long wait but we didn’t mind.
We were shocked because you and Grace also decided that you were old enough to go on the kids rides by yourselves. How big you are both getting! You went on 3 rides by yourselves and would have gone on more if it wasn’t so busy. We will have to go back soon.

We watched Annalise today so you and your sister are both sleeping, that is a good thing because we have Family Fun Night tonight at the library. We have been going every Tuesday for about a month and you both really enjoy it. Every week is something different. We usually end up going to the library twice a week and I would go every day – the library is one of my all time favorite places:) I hope that you and your sister end up loving books as much as I do.

You also have become quite the singer. You sing just about any song and can count to 13 – wow! Your favorite show is Lazytown, followed closely by Dragon Tales. My little baby J Lo isn’t so little anymore. I miss those days sometimes but you are such a riot now.

Gotta go little one, but I love you and I WILL write soon.
