Right around the corner

I can’t believe you are going to be 4 in less than one month. It seems like yesterday that I had my little newborn cuddling up to me and even though you still love to cuddle it isn’t the same. You and your sister had a lot of fun playing in the leaves but unfortunately the weather turned cold fast. A few weekends ago we had a terrible snow storm (or winter storm as you like to call it). If your father and I would have planned better we wouldn’t have had to go out in it, but sometimes things can’t be helped. When I got off of work there was maybe 4 inches of snow on the ground and it was the light, fluffy kind. We decided to head to Country Kitchen for a quick bite to eat
and then over to Wal-Mart to do some quick shopping. By the time we left Wal-Mart it was a mix of snow and sleet and the winds were so high that you started to cry because it hurt you. You still tell me how much you didn’t like that winter storm, lol!

There are a lot of people out there (your Ahma for one) who hate this time of year because the of the snow, the cold, or some combination of the two. I am not one of these people. The only thing I don’t like doing is driving in the snow, but I do think that it is really beautiful!

You and your sister are both so excited about Christmas, and number one on the Santa list is anything having to do with the princesses. Your favorite princess is Sleeping Beauty so maybe Santa will find some things with her on them. You also love to dress up and put on jewelry, and love playing with your dolls.

We also took you to see where you are going to be going to school next year…did I just say school next year? They have a 4K class (which is similar to Kindgergarten but for 4 year olds) and I think it would be good for you to get some social interaction with other kids. It breaks my heart just thinking of you going to any kind of school, that is why I try to enjoy all the time I can with you and your sister…before you know it you will both be in school full-time and you both are pretty independent.

I love you my little Ronikins and will write more soon!

Christmas is Coming

Well my goofy little one! Check out these pictures:) The weather has changed so quickly here. As you can see on the 10th of November you and your sister were having some fun playing in the leaves. You do have a hat on, so it was a little cool, but nothing compared to what we were hit with a few weeks ago!

A few weekends ago we got more than 6 inches of snow. Thanks to poor planning, and lack of time on the part of your father and I, when I got off of work we actually had to go out in it. When we left the house around 5 or so there was probably 4 inches on the ground and it was still snowing but it was the fluffy kind of snow. We went and got a quick bite to eat at Country Kitchen and then went to Wal-Mart. After we did our shopping at Wal-Mart and came out it was then a mixture of snow and sleet and the winds were so strong we had to run to the car because it actually hurt walking in it…ouch!

It hasn’t warmed up a whole lot since then and we have gotten some more snow. I know a lot of people (Ahma for one) curse this time of year because they hate the temperature and the snow. I actually like both, as long as it is not bitter cold out. The snow is beautiful and I can’t imagine growing up never seeing it.

Speaking of snow, Christmas is right around the corner. You and your sister are so excited and the most requested present this year is anything with the princesses. Your favorite is Cinderella so maybe Santa will find some things with her for you. You also both love to dress up with dresses and jewelry. It really cracks me up. You are still dancing and singing as much as ever and make us repeatedly watch the “Cry Dinosaur” episode of Lazytown. Even though I am so sick of seeing it I turn it on because I love to watch you sing along and dance too!

Lovely one, I have to go for now, but I will write soon. Love you with all my heart!
