Beans – Chubu

Hi my little peanut,

What an independent little girl you are! And what a temper! You and your sister haven’t been feeling well lately, and neither have I for that matter. We took you both to the walk-in clinic on Thursday and you both have a double ear infection. The doctor prescribed meds and steroids for you because your cough was worse than Grace’s. But, you certainly don’t like to take it, even the stuff that tastes like bubble gum.

I haven’t been feeling well either. On Monday I actually went to the ER and Tuesday you and Grace went over by Auntie Hailee because I just didn’t have the energy to take care of you. I had a CT scan done on Wednesday and found out that I have Prolonged QT, a cyst on my liver, a dilated bile duct and swollen lymph nodes. My doctor won’t be back until Monday so that is the first chance I will have to talk to him. I am worried – I just don’t want there to be anything seriously wrong. I can’t imagine missing you and your sister grow up and change. My life was so different before I had the both of you and I look back and think “what did I do”. You are both my world and have made me such a better person. I hope you always know how much I love you and how much you mean to me.

You have been my little snuggle bug in bed too! It is fun and cute in the beginning but after awhile I get tired and just wish you would go to sleep. How can I resist the cute little face? And you actually pet and rub on me, two things that I just love. I don’t ask you to, you just do like you know how to relax me and make me feel better.

I love you beans – more than you will ever know!

Hi darling,

I haven’t been feeling so well lately and thought maybe I should write to you again. You and your sister both are sick – double ear infections. You are such a good girl though, and take your medicine no problem. Even if it doesn’t taste good.

I felt so bad because I had to send you over by Auntie Hailee 3 days this past week. On Monday I ended up in the ER, Tuesday I just didn’t have the energy to take care of you, and on Wednesday I had to go and have a CT scan done. They have noticed that I have a Prolonged QT, and also have a cyst on my liver, a dilated bile duct, and swollen lymph nodes. I am waiting to talk to the doctor on Monday but have been worrying. One of the things I worry about the most is if it is something serious and I don’t get to see you and Ella grow up. I am hopeful that it isn’t anything to worry about, but it still makes you think.

I know that even if you had to grow up without me you would be fine, but I just love you so much and want to make sure that I get to see you grow and change into a wonderful lady! You change so much every day and there are times when I really think that I don’t spend enough time with you. You love to cuddle, hug, kiss, all the things I want you to do. Your new favorite word is hideous and you use it ALL THE TIME!! You sing songs and put hideous in front of some of the words – it is pretty funny.

You have also taken to calling yourself Rhymee pants – you rhyme words, or at least you think you do. You will say Beans, and Beans…that rhymes. While you aren’t wrong, it is funny how you come up with these things. I promise to write more but no matter what always know that I love you more than anything, and you and your sister make my life complete. I would be lost without you:)

My love to you always!

New words – where do you get them from?

So, last night you tell me “she will do it all by she-self”. How cute is that? Another of your favorites is “I have itch-its” – you and your sister both say this one. You both are so damn adorable, but you just have a way. Don’t get me wrong, you have a MAJOR attitude and when you want to do something you want to do it right now.

You are also the most loving little one around. You were so excited for Christmas and Santa and now if Grace is naughty you say “Santa’s watching Honna, Santa’s watching”. There are days where I am ready to tear my hair out because of you two, and then other days (most of the time) where I wonder what I did without you two. You are both so wonderful and I promise to try and write more. We are off to family fun night tonight and are watching Annalise today so it is pretty hectic. I love you sweetest cuddler and will write more soon:)

Oh my 4 year old

Well darling girl, you are now 4. Of course we had to get you a Princess cake – you and your sister both just adore all of the princesses and I couldn’t disappoint you, after last years fiasco with Sportacus (thanks Bad Uncle). The cake was expensive, but worth it to see the look on your face:)

You had a good birthday, and got lots of presents. You especially look forward to Elizabeth coming over, there is something about her that you and Beans just can’t get over. Don’t get me wrong – your dad and I used to call her
the world’s most perfect child, before you and your sister were born. You ask almost every day if she is coming over, or if we are going over there, it is so cute. After the party was over it was off to the library, and then out to Chinese which is your FAVORITE!!! As long as they have shrimp and stuffed mushrooms, you are game to go anywhere:)

You have been a little on the sassy side lately. I think it is just a combination of age, and the weather. We can’t really go outside and do anything because it is so damp and wet outside, so the 3 of us are cooped up most of the time.
The only time we ever really get out of the house lately is to go grocery shopping or to the library. We will have Annalise for the next 3 weeks so that will help with the boredom a little bit. At least that is what I am hoping.

Here is a picture of you and me – you are holding your Princess mirror, one of the many Princess things we now have in the house. Sleeping Beauty is your favorite, but you really love all of them. You are such a little girly-girl and I love you for it. From the earrings, to the hair do-dads, to the tights, dress shoes, etc… we literally could throw away all of your pants because you hardly ever wear them. That’s ok – a lot of parents wish they had girls like you and Ella, but there could only ever be one Grace Elizabeth. I love you sweetheart and even though you always tell me you will always cuddle with me I know those days will end. Just know that I will cuddle you whenever you ask, no matter how old you get.
